I have 25 years’ experience of working with organizations on change and organizational & talent development projects. Based in Portugal, I also work internationally across a wide range of sectors, namely IT, Finance, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Manufacturing, Consultancy, Telecommunications, Retail. This has provided me the opportunity to develop a deeper sense of inter-cultural sensitivity and work with a high variety of working and culture styles, as well as market environments. I am accredited by the EMCC- European Mentoring and Coaching Council at Senior Practitioner level, with almost 4500 hours of experience in coaching one to one. My focus as an executive coach has been on supporting senior executives developing leadership capabilities, awareness and confidence, especially in times of transition or within challenging assignments. I am also experienced in team & group coaching and as a feedback coach in leadership development programs. Since 2013 that I am a member of the EMCC's Competence Working Group, whose responsibility is to continuously update the EMCC’s Competency Framework(s), and to ensure a meaningful EMCC’s CPD (Continuous Professional Development) system. I am also an assessor for the EIA – European Individual Accreditation in Coaching and Mentoring. This allows me to have a system and integrative perspective of coaching and mentoring practice and its value-chain. I am passionate about supporting the development of women in advancing to top leadership roles. In addition to coaching women, I work at an organizational level on leadership programs that support women’s career development. Unconscious bias (2nd generation), gender intelligence and inclusive leadership are areas where I have been developing my expertise. Lately, I also have been designing and implementing mentoring programs, namely internal mentoring programs for companies, as well as cross-mentoring programmes for volunteer organizations.
